Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 September 2026
This policy describes what TukTuk Games actually stores and why. It covers the website and its games.
What we store
- Account data (only if you register): username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password itself.
- Game activity: when you press Play we record a play session (game, time, and an anonymous visitor ID). Likes and dislikes, and for logged-in players favorites, recently played games, achievements and leaderboard scores, are stored against your account or visitor ID.
- Messages and reports you send through the contact form or the Report button, including the name and email you enter.
- IP addresses are not stored in readable form. To limit abuse (for example repeated login attempts), a keyed one-way hash of the IP address is kept briefly for rate limiting and alongside contact messages.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a small number of first-party cookies and local storage entries that the site needs to work. They are listed in the Cookie Policy.
What we don’t do
The site currently uses no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and, where required, you will be asked for consent.
How your data is used
Only to run the site: to sign you in, remember your favorites and history, count plays and votes, show leaderboards, answer messages, review reports and protect against abuse. We don’t sell personal data.
Hosting
The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) under its own policies.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. To access, correct or delete your account or messages, contact us from the email address on your account.
